Zyme Prime

Zyme Prime™️ is an enzyme preparation whose aim is to increase the breakdown of complex carbohydrates. Zyme Prime also supports the breakdown of triglyceride fats, starches and proteins.

While not as strong at breaking down protein as AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime excels at breaking down carbohydrates. This results in less bloating and gas production, and also helps with some digestive problems such as lactose intolerance.

Zyme Prime is helpful in relieving occasional gas, bloating and cramps caused by dietary problems such as intolerance to lactose and fatty foods. Results may include harder and more formed stools.

There has been some improvement in the tolerance of foods containing polyphenols. Zyme Prime has been observed to frequently increase weight gain in undersized children, possibly by increasing nutrient bioavailability.†

Contraindications to enzyme supplementation

This product may not be suitable for people with known allergies to Aspergillus enzyme proteins, although non-specific mold allergies do not necessarily preclude the use of fungal enzymes. Please consult your doctor for further advice and exercise caution. People with known anaphylactic allergic reactions to mushroom proteins should NOT consume enzymes derived from mushrooms.

Dosage

No upper limit has been established for oral enzyme supplementation. Animal studies indicate that very large doses of enzymes can be consumed without toxicity or ill effects. Most of them give a Zyme Prime dose of 1 to 4 capsules per meal. Dosage is based on the amount of food consumed at a meal, not on body weight or age. You can freely change the dose of Zyme Prime depending on the content and size of the meal. Meals higher in carbohydrates and/or fat may require larger doses of Zyme Prime. For practical reasons, do not take more than 5 capsules at one time, and no more than 9 capsules in 24 hours.
