Ultra B-Complex w/PQQ is a combination of a vitamin complex from group B and PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone), which support the functions and bioenergetics of mitochondria.

Functions of individual components< /span>

• Thiamine and niacin support the viability of neuronal cells, the functions of nerve cell membranes and the conduction of nerve impulses

• 5-MTHF, methylcobalamin and vitamin B6 support the functions of the nervous system because they are cofactors of methylation in myelin and take part in the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters.

• PQQ is a newly discovered B vitamin that promotes mitochondrial biogenesis.

• Alpha lipoic acid supports mitochondrial function, the integrity of neuronal membranes and also has antioxidant properties

Mitochondria Support:

B vitamins are necessary for the proper functioning of mitochondria, due to the fact that they are metabolic coenzymes and provide methyl groups . PQQ, in turn, has antioxidant properties. Scientists also believe that PQQ promotes gene transcription, thereby supporting mitochondrial function and synthesis processes.

Alpha-lipoic acid improves the use of mitochondrial energy, and in combination with luteolin increases antioxidant activity in the nervous system.

What are the sources?

Vitamin B1 (thiamine HCl), niacinamide, niacin, vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxal HCl), folic acid (Metafolin®, L-5-MTHF), biotin and alpha-lipoic acid are produced synthetically.
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and ascorbyl palmitate are products of the fermentation of corn glucose.

Luteolin is a component of the leaves of Chrysanthemum indicum.
BioPQQ™ is produced in Japan using a patented natural fermentation process.

Recommended dosage

Take 1 to 2 capsules daily, in doses divided, during the meal.

Are there any potential side effects or precautions? ?

In the case of pregnant and lactating women, consult  with your doctor whether it is allowed to take the supplement.

Alpha lipoic acid may cause nausea and skin rash among people sensitive to this compound.

Luteolin is not recommended for people sensitive to botanical varieties of Asteraceae /Compositae.
